Prerna graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Stanford University in 2004, with a degree in Economics, and worked on marketing strategy at Monitor Group and early-stage deal sourcing at Summit Partners before making the move to entrepreneurship. She was named one of FastCompany's Most Influential Women in Tech 2011, and her writing has been published in New York Times and TechCrunch. Prerna's favorite instrument is her voice.

Parag is CTO at Khush. He was previously the director of the Georgia Tech Music Intelligence Lab, a research institute funded by the National Science Foundation to build intelligent systems that are musically creative. Parag was recently the recipient of the competitive NSF CAREER Award for his research in music prediction. He received a PhD in artificial intelligence and music at Stanford University and a BS in Mathematics from Yale. He has extensive experience managing commercial software development, and is also the founder of BolRecords, an Indian classical music record label. Parag is an actively performing Indian classical musician and electronic music composer.
Alex is Creative Director at Khush. He has been programming music since 1995, using analog synthesizers, hardware instruments and developing custom software in PD, Max/MSP and Python. Alex received a Masters in Music Technology at Georgia Tech, and a BA in Physics at Harvard. As a musician, he is renowned for his sound design and intricate rhythmic sequencing. His recent research has focused on building intelligent systems for music interaction and performance. Alex has also been trained in classical piano and classical guitar, and is an accomplished composer and producer of electronic music.
Mark T. Godfrey received a MS in Music Technology from Georgia Tech where his research interests included music modeling and information retrieval, machine listening, and interactive human-machine musical performance. He also holds a BS and MS in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Tech. He's worked in the music startup space for several years, bringing music technology to mass consumer markets. Non-professionally, he enjoys food, karaoke, and creating experimental pop music.
Avinash is an Electrical and Electronics Engg. graduate from the National Institute of Technology, Surathkal, India. After working for a year at NXP Semiconductors, Bangalore, he made his way to the Music Technology program at Georgia Tech, Atlanta, in 2009. He has now forgotten everything he once knew about induction motors and power transmission, and instead works on creative music models. His research interests are centered around Music Information Retrieval (MIR), digital signal processing and machine learning. He now works for Khush Inc.
Andrew is an Atlanta-based producer, composer, and performer. He received a BA in Music Composition from Santa Clara University and an MS in Music Technology from Georgia Tech. His works are electronic and acoustic, and cover a large musical landscape; from hip-hop tracks to avant-garde classical music. Xiang Cao ('Hawk') has been developing commercial grade music applications for over a decade, through both industry work experience at DigiDesign and Maize Company and research at Microsoft Asia and Georgia Tech. Hawk founded a music technology company called Maize Company (maizesoft.cn) in 1995, which builds Windows-based synth and multi-track production applications. He received a Masters in Music Technology at Georgia Tech, and a BE in Computer Science at Zhejiang University in China.
